Like the feather duster. But handle that s too short and not enough feathers. Would’ve liked a bigger one with a lot more feathers . Other than that it works fine

Handle is shorter and feathers are thinner than I expected

I bought this a little over two years ago and received the larger older version. Worked fine and I was happy with it.I moved a year ago and had things put in storage including this duster. It wasn't around solvents of any kind and was indoors in temperature controlled storage.I just got my items out of storage and went to dust my new place with this duster. Feathers just came flying out on their own as I tried dusting. I gave a gentle tug on feathers and they would come out by the handful. The thing is useless.The glue they used I guess degraded over the year and no longer held the feathers.I honestly would expect such a simple thing to last more than a year or two.

I don't know how this gets the numerous good reviews it gets - maybe people use them to delicately dust their collection of miniatures? I tried buying a different brand a couple of years ago on Amazon and this was basically the same product. I returned that one and I'll be returning this one. All the feather dusters appear to be similar. The head is very small; you can see from the picture that it's the size of my hand when it's expanded. In addition the outer feathers have big spines so when the top downey portion wears away this might scratch surfaces. Perhaps good feather dusters just aren't made anymore. This tiny duster makes me think of a frail, aged grandmother dusting her collection of tiny ornaments handed down from her grandmother - it certainly isn't the size tool that I would use for dusting the TV or other surfaces in a house.
